Eibar vs Granada Predictions

Spoils to be Shared at Ipurua

Granada are fancied to break a run of six straight defeats in games against Eibar when the teams clash this weekend, although we’re forecasting a share of the spoils at Ipurua.

Seventh-placed Granada are going much the better of these two sides this term and Nazaries posted their third league victory in four on Wednesday night with a 2-1 success at home to Valencia.

Diego Martinez’ charges haven’t been quite so good away from Los Carmenes this season though, losing three of their last four away trips and four from seven overall on the road.

That record combined with their glut of losses against Eibar in recent years is enough to deter us from backing the visitors this Sunday, however Granada should be good enough to at least claim a point at Ipurua where 16^th placed Eibar have failed to win so far this term.

The hosts have drawn four and lost four of their eight starts here and they go into this clash with five draws registered in their last eight fixtures.

As such, we’re tipping up a stalemate in this weekend’s game which could well bring about Eibar’s fifth goalless draw of the campaign – a distinct possibility with Granada managing just five goals on their travels thus far.
