Elfsborg vs Kalmar FF Predictions
For any side going through a bad run of form, they know that if they can just get back to winning ways as soon as possible, the performances will soon start to follow. For fans of Elfsborg and Kalmar FF, that is exactly what they will be thinking and given that the two sides face off against each other in Sweden’s Allsvenskan on Monday, there is a good chance that the blues will be lifted from one of these sides come Tuesday morning.
Elfsborg have not exactly been hitting the high notes of late and they come into this match having failed to win in their previous seven league matches. With form like that it should come as no surprise to learn that the hosts have dropped down the table and they are now looking at a fight to stay in the league, rather than anything more glamorous for the rest of the campaign. It is easy to see where their issues can be found too as the hosts have the third worst defensive record in the division, with 28 goals conceded in their 16 matches.
Making the trip to the Borås Arena is a Kalmar FF side who have just as much reason to be concerned as their hosts as they come into this contest having managed a poultry return of just three wins from their last 17 outings in all competitions. There should be no shock to learn that the visitors are in the midst of a battle at the bottom of the division and the 13 points they have to their name is just two points more than the teams at the bottom.
With the form shown by both of these sides in the build up to this game, it is hard to make a case on the win-draw-win market for either team. Instead, we think that the fact that the hosts have an awful defensive record and six of the last seven meetings between these two sides have resulted in both teams scoring, means that backing both teams to hit the back of the net represents the best opportunity for a decent return.
