Elfsborg to add to Orebro’s woes

Elfsborg have a good chance to close on the Allsvenskan’s top two when they take on basement club Orebro at home on Sunday.

The Yellow Ones returned from the midseason break with a good performance in winning away at IFK last weekend.

Jimmy Thelin’s men have now triumphed 1-0 in their last two, but the home fans at Borås Arena will expect more goals from their side against the league’s worst.

Orebro suffered another wide-margin loss away to Djurgarden, who assumed leadership of the table, and continue to look forlorn once they go behind in games.

They have only been able to turn a deficit on its head once this season and have conceded a league-high 14 goals in five road trips this term.

Elfsborg’s home form may appear mediocre but the Yellow Ones are yet to face any of the bottom six at home and have played two of the three others in the top four already.
