Empoli can upset the odds

Empoli can dent Napoli’s bid to play in European competition next season and bolster their own survival bid with a positive result at Stadio Carlo Castellani on Saturday.

Gli Azzurri are fighting to stay up and earned a vital victory a fortnight ago when beating Torino 3-2 at home.

The Partenopei still have quality in attacking positions, but it took a stoppage-time goal for Bologna to take three points at Empoli, who can make things very difficult for  Francesco Calzona’s side.
