Empoli’s search for home supremacy

When considering that Empoli have won only one of their six home league games this season, it is a decent effort on their part that they sit in mid-table in Serie A.

The Little Zebras have been beaten by Venezia (3-2), Juventus (2-0) and Atalanta (2-1) during that period, and as such have slipped to ninth in the table ahead of this round, one point above Empoli.

Their away record is a particular concern though, losing four on the spin on their travels, while their only win on the road came at Parma, who are not exactly pulling up any trees themselves.
