Falkirk vs Rangers Predictions
Falkirk started their season very well, winning five of their opening seven matches in all competitions and only losing once.
This excellent form made way for a poor spell in which they won only once in six games, losing three times.
Since then Falkirk have returned to their early season form, and they come into this crucial game have won five and drawn two of their last seven outings.
Falkirk sit in an impressive 3rd position in the Scottish Championship, six points behind 2nd placed Hibernian and eight points clear of 4th placed Morton.
But Rangers are nine points clear of them in the top spot of the league thanks to their impressive season so far.
The Glasgow giants are desperate to return to the Scottish Premiership after so many years in the lower leagues, and they are going the right way about it so far.
They have only lost one league game so far this season, with 13 of their remaining 15 Scottish Championship fixtures ending in victory for them.
Rangers’ only dropped points of the season have come recently though, and they have only won two of their last five Scottish Championship games.
You can’t deny Rangers’ quality though. They have only conceded 11 times in the league so far this term and have netted a huge 46 times at the other end.
They have scored 13 times against Falkirk in their last five meetings as well, helping them to three wins and one draw over the past few years, with the most recent one being a 3-1 victory in October.
Falkirk come into this game in very fine form, and they are meeting Rangers at a time when they have only picked up one point from their last two away days. This makes odds of 6/4 for a Falkirk Win or Draw Double Chance look really good value. I’m also going for a 1-1 correct score prediction at 8/1 due to Falkirk’s excellent defensive record this season.
