FC Copenhagen vs Galatasaray Predictions

Plenty at stake in Group A decider

It’s all to play for in Champions League Group A where all three remaining teams are in with a shout of joining group winners Bayern Munich in the knockout rounds.

Manchester United have the hardest assignment as only a win will do for the Red Devils when they take on the German giants at Old Trafford.

And that leaves Copenhagen and Galatasaray fighting it out in a winner takes all contest at the Parken Stadion where a victory for either side will send them through and leave United’s result redundant whether they win or not.

And Galatasaray are our prediction to claim a crucial victory in the Danish capital, as the Danes are winless in four matches, with their last outing yielding a 2-1 home defeat to Aarhus.

That sequence without a win saw them draw 0-0 with Bayern in the Champions League, but that result in Munich can be taken with a pinch of salt as the Germans had taken their foot off the gas having already sealed qualification.

Galatasaray will come out all guns blazing and we predict them to nick the victory but it would be wise to keep the draw on side.

Goals likely at both ends

It was 2-2 when these two met on the first night of the group stage and our prediction is for both sides to get on the scoresheet once again.

A cagey contest can be expected at the outset but both sides will have to chase the win at some point, particularly if favourable news comes in from Old Trafford.

That could see the game open up and we predict both teams to get on the scoresheet.
