FC Flora Tallinn vs Legia Warsaw Predictions

Flora shouldn’t fear Legia after superb showing in Poland 

Flora Tallinn need to overturn a 2-1 deficit in the second leg of their Champions League second qualifying round tie against Legia Warsaw on Tuesday.

The Estonians will still be kicking themselves after failing to return from Poland with a positive result in the first leg.

After conceding early on, Flora drew level while dominating the game for an hour – before Legia’s late pressure told with a stoppage-time winner.

Jurgen Henn’s side did look vulnerable from set-pieces, which is where Legia’s late goal came from, but otherwise were more than comfortable in open play.

Legia were disappointing after they lost midfielder Bartosz Kapustka to an injury he appeared to pick up during the move for his third-minute strike and his absence will be a blow for the second leg.

But given how Czeslaw Michniewicz’s men played in the away leg of their second qualifying round tie against Bodo/Glimt and their threat from set pieces, we’ll still take them to score.

Over 2.5 goals looks like a good play for this one as Flora can’t sit back and surely won’t attempt to be cagey after enjoying success when on the front foot in Warsaw.

The hosts could push Legia all the way in this one – possibly to extra time – with a 2-1 win being our forecast for the 90 minutes based on how well the Tallinn team played last week.
