Santiago Gimenez To Score Anytime

Reason for tip

Santiago Gimenez scored 16 goals for Feyenoord in the first half of the season but now plies his trade in Milan, where he opened his Serie A account from the bench on Saturday. He has scored 11 goals in his last ten appearances for Feye and Milan and could bite his former club.

Feyenoord vs AC Milan Predictions

  • Over 2.5 goals and both teams to score has landed six of AC Milan’s eight Champions League games.
  • Feyenoord have scored 18 and and conceded 21 in the Champions League this season.

Gimenez to bite former employer

Feyenoord were demolished at Lille in their last Champions League tie and, while they should fare better on home soil on Wednesday, an old flame could come back to bite them as AC Milan visit Rotterdam.

Santiago Gimenez scored 16 goals for Feyenoord in the first half of the season before moving to Milan earlier this month, and the Mexico international began his Serie A career with a goal from the bench at Empoli on Saturday.

He has scored 11 goals in his last ten appearances for Feyenoord and AC Milan, and he looks a good price to bite his former employers on Wednesday.

That is unlikely to be the only goal of the game, though.

Feye’s eight Champions League games this season have seen them score 18 goals and concede 21 at the other end, with over 2.5 goals landing in all eight of these games.

Over 2.5 goals and both teams to score has landed in six of AC Milan’s eight outings in this competition, so a high-scoring affair at Stadion Feijenoord looks the order of the day.

AC Milan are justified favourites to progress to the round of 16, but Feyenoord have looked solid at home and, with Milan conceding twice in their last two Champions League away games, a 2-2 draw looks solid.
