      Fiorentina To Win To Nil

      Reason for tip

Fiorentina secured a hefty 3-0 advantage in this Conference League playoff away from home last week, and they should have few problems finishing the job back in Florence on Thursday. All three goals came in the second half of last Thursday’s contest in Poland, and La Viola are fancied to extend their winning run to four matches.

      Fiorentina 2-0

      Reason for tip

Fiorentina have scored more than two goals in only two of their 18 matches on home soil this term in all competitions, so backing a 2-0 victory looks the best course of action for correct-score punters in the second leg of this Conference League playoff. That looked like being the outcome in Bialystok last week until Roberto Piccoli’s late penalty all but put this tie to bed, and the Polish side have failed to score in two of their last three away from home.

      Fiorentina vs Jagiellonia Bialystok Predictions

      • Fiorentina are unbeaten in four matches – winning each of their last three
      • La Viola have scored more than two goals in only two of their 18 matches on home soil this term in all competitions
      • The Polish side have failed to score in two of their last three away from home

Fiorentina to finish the job in Florence

A late show in Poland last week landed Fiorentina a 3-0 advantage over Jagiellonia Bialystok in this Conference League and our prediction is for the Serie A side to finish the job with the minimum of fuss back on home soil in Florence.

The Poles proved a stubborn bunch last Thursday, but once La Viola broke the deadlock in the 53rd minute through Luca Ranieri, it was plain sailing for the Italian giants.

Rolanda Mandragora added a second 12 minutes later, and the tie was virtually done and dusted when Roberto Piccoli slotted home from the penalty spot with just nine minutes remaining.

Jagiellonia looked out of their depth once the first goal went in and they are taking on Fiorentina at the wrong time.

Paolo Vanoli’s side are unbeaten in four matches, winning each of the last three, and this looks a forlorn hope for the visiting side who have failed to score in two of their last three away from home.

Fiorentina, though, haven’t found home goals quite as easy this term, and in just two of their 18 home matches in all competitions this season have they scored more than twice.

For that reason, a 2-0 home win looks the best bet for correct-score punters with the home side not needing to force the issue.
