Both Teams To Score

Reason for tip

Both teams have scored in 11 of Fiorentina’s last 12 games and goals at both ends could be on the cards against Venezia, who have scored and conceded in both of their games so far this season.

Fiorentina 3-1

Reason for tip

Fiorentina have scored two or more goals in each of their last five competitive home games. Venezia have played two games this season and lost 3-1 on each occasion, so another 3-1 loss for the away side looks a reasonable correct score prediction.

Moise Kean To Score Anytime

Reason for tip

Moise Kean opened his Viola account on Thursday after coming off the bench in the 3-3 draw with Puskas Academy. He should return to the starting line-up against Venezia and he looks the best scorer option.

Fiorentina vs Venezia Predictions

  • Both teams have scored in 11 of Fiorentina’s last 12 games.
  • Venezia have two defeats in as many games this season, both 3-1 losses.
  • La Viola are unbeaten in eight at home.

Both teams to score appeals at the Artemio Franchi

Fiorentina entertain promoted Venezia in Serie A on Sunday and goals at both ends looks a strong play here.

La Viola are the clear favourites and they are unbeaten in eight at their Stadio Artemio Franchi home. However, the fact they have some work to do in a Conference League qualifier against Puskas Academy after a 3-3 draw at this ground on Thursday means they don’t offer much appeal at a short price.

A home win is still the more likely result, but the better option for our main bet is backing both teams to score.

There have been goals at both ends in 11 of the hosts’ last 12 games, with the one exception being a nervy 0-0 draw with Olympiakos in last season’s Conference League final – which they lost on penalties.

The early signs suggest Venezia are in for a tough season after two defeats in two games, including s 3-1 loss at Serie B outfit Brescia in the cup. However, they have scored in both of those games and they are usually good for a goal on the road – having scored in 13 of their last 15 trips stretching back deep into last season.

As Venezia have lost 3-1 twice this season and Fiortenina have scored more than once in each of their last five competitive home games, and more than twice in three of those, a 3-1 win for the hosts is the correct score pick.

Moise Kean opened his Viola account on Thursday after coming off the bench. He should return to the starting line-up against Venezia and he looks the best scorer option.
