Qarabag come into this game in decent form with the Azerbaijani side having lost just one of their last eight games in all competitions. This run has seen them advance to this point with wins over Ashdod of Israel and Limassol of Cyprus so this match should be a slight step up in quality. The hosts are the favourites though and will be looking to pick up a first leg advantage before the sides meet again.

Aberdeen have been in decent form themselves and it was a disappointing 2-1 loss in the League Cup on Sunday that saw their run of wins end at four. They’ve averaged two goals a game over their last five matches though, proving themselves to be in good goalscoring form, but just one clean sheet in that period shows some deficiencies within the side.

This should be a really tough trip for Aberdeen but their recent exploits in front of goal lead us to believe that they should do enough to get on the scoresheet in this match. Unfortunately, it looks unlikely that they will keep a clean sheet however and we’re backing both teams to score in this contest.
