Sunderland looking to extend winning run

Two in-form teams meet at Highbury on Saturday as Fleetwood Town host table toppers Sunderland.

The Black Cats have won their last four games in all competitions, while Fleetwood have three wins and a draw in their last four.

The Cod Army claimed an eye-catch 4-2 win at Rotherham in the last round of fixtures but may come unstuck against Sunderland on Saturday.

The Wearside outfit have three wins and a defeat from four away outings this term.  Sunderland’s one loss came at Burton but the Brewers had a heroic performance from keeper Ben Garratt to thank for that success as he made a number of key saves, with Burton scoring from their only shot on target.

Sunderland are yet to keep a clean sheet away from home and Fleetwood have been in fine scoring form recently with 12 goals in their last four games so we may well see goals at both ends and a 3-1 win for the away side has some appeal in the correct score market.
