Title slipping away from Forest Green?

Forest Green have already secured promotion to League One, but to highlight the slump they have been on, they have now been joined at the top by Exeter, despite at one stage being in excess of ten points clear in first place.

Rob Edwards’ side lost to Swindon on Tuesday night, meaning they have won just one of their last five, but they have remained strong at the New Lawn, where they are undefeated in five, winning three.

In four of those games they have kept clean sheets, and despite goals drying up a touch due to Matty Stevens’ injury, they have failed to net in only three of their last 18 at home, where they have lost just four times all season.

Harrogate playing for pride

With their place in League Two for next season already secured, Harrogate have little to play for, as highlighted by their recent run of eight defeats in 11 and just two wins in 13.

Simon Weaver’s side have slipped down the table to 19th place and they have been in worrying form on the road, winning just once in six – and even that was against hapless Scunthorpe.

Four of the last five on the road have ended in defeat – and they have failed to score in each game – while Town have registered just one win on their travels against a team in the top half, which was Mansfield back in September.

Forest Green’s form does not look great, but the majority of their poor results have been away from home. I predict they will win this match to nil, selecting 2-0 as a correct score prediction.
