Frosinone vs Roma Predictions
- Frosinone have lost three of their last four home league games with both teams scoring each time
- Roma have won three of their four away league games against bottom-half teams with both teams scoring each time
- Roma’s last two away league wins were both by scores of 2-1
Roma on the road to victory
Roma’s domestic resurgence should continue when they head to fast-sinking Frosinone in Serie A on Sunday.
The Giallorossi’s three-game winning run under new head coach Daniele De Rossi was ended by table-toppers Inter last weekend, but they pulled out a good result in drawing 1-1 with Feyenoord in midweek.
De Rossi appears to have solved their goalscoring problems with his side netting two or more times in his first four games and bagging 11 times in five overall. And the likes of Romelu Lukaku and Paulo Dybala should be in business against a Frosinone outfit that have shipped 25 times across their last eight games in all competitions.
Freefalling Frosninoe are on a familiar path
Eusebio Di Francesco’s team have been on a path that many a newly-promoted side has trodden with the momentum they brought with them from the previous season enabling them to get off to a flying start.
Frosinone were sitting pretty with 18 points from their first 13 games of the campaign, but have managed to collect only five more from the next 11 fixtures. Defeats by scorelines of 5-0 and 5-1 away to Atalanta and Fiorentina have highlighted the gulf in class they face each week.
Home results have been better with Frosinone going down by the odd goal in five to Monza and AC Milan after a 2-1 reverse to Juventus, all of which indicate it will be worth backing Roma to win and both teams to score.
