Fulham vs Birmingham Betting Tips

The Blues have just started to struggle a little bit after a bright opening to the season. They haven’t scored in any of their last 3 matches, losing 2-0 against Hull and Wolves prior to a 0-0 draw at home to Blackburn in midweek.

Gary Rowett has done an exceptional job but they don’t really have enough quality in their squad to live with the strongest sides in the league over the course of the season and they’ve seen the likes of Hull, Burnley, Middlesbrough and Derby move above them on the back of their last few results but they remain just inside the top six.

Fulham are the league’s entertainers and there are usually goals when they are involved. There have already been 50 goals in the 15 league matches involving them this season. They have the league’s best goalscoring record but are only 11th in it because they have also been conceding plenty.

They lost a tough match last time out at Burnley but had won their previous two and were unbeaten in 5 prior to that. They scored 4 times in both of those victories and their firepower might prove too much for Birmingham here. At 6/5 certainly Fulham look good value to win the game.

Birmingham have had a few players in really good form but the goals really seem to have dried up of late for them and they’ve gone 340 minutes without netting in the Championship.

The hosts are likely to dominate possession, which should offer their defence some protection and therefore perhaps Fulham can secure a win here and a rare clean sheet with a 2-0 scoreline which can be backed at 10/1.
