      Fulham vs Hull Predictions

Hull are on a roll having won all 4 matches they have played so far in 2016 to move above Derby, who are wobbling a bit, in to 2nd place. They were 6-0 winners at home to Charlton last weekend which ought to be a big concern for a Fulham side that have the 2nd worst defensive record in the league.

Away from home though the Tigers have been less convincing and the vast majority of their points have come at the KC Stadium. Hull had lost 4 in a row away from home before their late 2-1 win at QPR on New Year’s Day so they will know another win in West London is anything but a foregone conclusion.

Fulham picked up a valuable point at Huddersfield last weekend but are in a similar place to where they were last season in that they are scoring goals but conceding far too many and again find themselves looking nervously over their shoulder.

The permanent appointment of Slaviša Jokanović should at least bring some stability after the almost farcical search for a successor to Kit Symons. He took over during the busy festive period and has 4 points from 4 games so far but will have been grateful for the chance to work with his players over the past 7 days and try to get a few more points across. They can take confidence from their draw at in-form Huddersfield last weekend so backing Fulham to avoid defeat here at 17/20 looks a decent bet on home soil and given Hull’s relative struggles on the road.

They aren’t playing well enough to suggest they can win the game against a disciplined Hull side but another 1-1 draw shouldn’t be beyond them and can be backed at 11/2.
