      Fulham vs Leeds Predictions

The decision to sack Uwe Rosler after just 11 games may have seemed a little rash but was hardly surprising given Leeds owner Massimo Cellino’s track record. What was much more surprising was his choice of replacement with former Rotherham boss Steve Evans taking charge of training within hours of the German’s departure.

Evans is one of the most colourful characters in English football but is far from widely revered and his relationship with Cellino hardly seems like a match made in heaven. He should get some kind of reaction from his new players in this game after Leeds succumbed to a 3rd straight defeat at home to Brighton on Saturday.

The Scot was fairly positive during his time in charge of Rotherham and may offer a more attacking approach than that of Rosler who was fairly cautious with 5 of his 11 matches ending in draws.

Against Fulham, who are one of the most attacking sides in the league, an open game could be the result with a fair few goals. The Cottagers have scored 17 times so far this season, a feat only 2 clubs can better but still find themselves in the bottom half after more questionable defensive displays that was a worrying theme last season.

8 of their 11 games in the league so far have had 3 or more goals in them and they are likely to be much more positive here than they were in the 0-0 draw at high-flying Middlesbrough at the weekend.

Leeds under Steve Evans are obviously an unknown quantity and we don’t really know what to expect from them but it’s hard to see him parking the bus in his first game in charge. He’ll want to stamp a more positive mark on the side and that should mean an open game and it looks a decent bet that there will be 3 or more goals here and that can be backed at 4/5.

New managers usually get some kind of reaction out of their side and Leeds have just enough firepower to hurt Fulham but the Londoners are likely to find plenty of joy of their own in an attacking sense so consider backing this one to finish 3-2 to Fulham at long odds of 28/1.
