Fulham vs MK Dons Betting Tips & Predictions

This is perhaps the biggest game so far this season at the bottom end of the Championship. MK Dons are in 22nd place just inside the drop-zone but only 1 point behind Fulham in 21st just above the dreaded dotted line. Fulham looked like they may coast to safety without having to do much themselves such was the form of the sides below them a month or so back. However the form of the likes of Bristol City and Rotherham has dragged them deep into the relegation mire and they’ve not done themselves many favours either given they’ve gone 6 matches without a win and have lost 3 of their last 5.

MK Dons haven’t been in awful form losing only 3 of their last 10 league matches but nor have they managed to string a few wins together like many of the teams around have. They’ve won just 2 of those 10 with 5 ending in draws. Encouragingly for them here though, their away form has really improved and they’ve lost just 1 of their last 5 on the road. That includes an impressive win at Derby and a draw at Hull last time out away from home.

Fulham are around Evens to win this but you can’t really be confident with backing them given their recent results and the fact that MK Dons have become quite tough to beat. Fulham lost a relegation six-pointer with Bristol City last time out at home and it’s probably fair to say that while they play some good football at times, they are not particularly well equipped for a relegation battle. MK Dons have been in the battle all season so they may not quite feel the pressure as much as their opponents here and backing Double Chance – Draw or MK Dons at 17/20 looks good value.
