      Tip Reasoning

Georgia managed to pick up a surprising 1-0 victory at home to Scotland in matchday six of the Euro 2016 qualifiers, but it’s not going to bring about any miraculous qualification for the Euro 2016 finals unfortunately for them.

This win bring their points total to six from eight games, with a 3-0 win away to Gibraltar giving them their other victory of the campaign.

But they have lost comprehensively to Poland in both home and away fixtures as well as losing their two games against the Republic of Ireland and their away match to Scotland.

They still have a trip to Germany to face as well, which is an unenviable task considering that they might still need a win if they are to top Group D.

But this game against Gibraltar could bring a little respite from tough matches for Georgia. Gibraltar are in their first ever qualification campaign for a major finals, and it isn’t going too well for them so far.

They have lost every one of their eight matches so far, scoring just two goals and conceding a huge 46. This is an average of almost six goals per game shipped.

Poland have beaten them by a seven goal margin twice, with the Republic of Ireland and Germany also thrashing them 7-0 and Scotland beating them 6-1.

Georgia themselves beat them 3-0 away from home, so not many people will be expecting a Gibraltar victory come Thursday evening.

I think a very comfortable Georgia win is all but guaranteed for this match, and considering their three goal margin away from home I think odds of 20/21 for a Georgia -3 Handicap Win are actually very good value. I’m also backing a 5-0 Georgia win at 6/1.
