Hammarby to Win and Under 3.5 Match Goals

Reason for tip

Hammarby have won back-to-back games after the summer break with under 3.5 goals in each. Meanwhile, Degerfors have lost three of their last four league games and fewer than four goals have been scored in 10 of their 12 Allsvenskan games in 2026.

Hammarby 2-0

Reason for tip

Hammarby are capable of scoring more than twice, but with a two-legged Europa League qualifying tie against Anderlecht on the horizon, they could take their foot off the gas if they sense that a 2-0 lead is insurmountable from a visiting side that has failed to score in their last two games.

Hammarby vs Degerfors Predictions

  • Hammarby have won back-to-back games after the summer break with under 3.5 goals in each
  • Degerfors have lost three of their last four league games
  • Fewer than four goals have been scored in 10 of Degerfors’ 12 Allsvenskan games in 2026

Bajen set to strengthen title tilt

Hammarby have picked up momentum after a slow start to the campaign and last season’s runners-up can maintain their title charge with a solid win at home to struggling Degerfors on Sunday.  Bajen went into the summer break 11 points adrift of leaders Sirius but they have already begun to eat into that advantage after consecutive wins over Elfsborg and Kalmar.

Both of those clubs are above Degerfors in the table and the team that finished one point and one place above the relegation zone last season look destined for another dogfight. Henok Goitom’s side lost 1-0 at home to Malmo upon the league’s resumption and followed it up with an ill-tempered 2-0 defeat at Vasteras.

It would be a major shock if they were to beat Hammarby, who look set to strengthen their push with the addition of ex-GAIS star Amin Boudri from Los Angeles FC in what is likely to be a record purchase for the Allsvenskan.

‘Job done’ scoreline would suit hosts

Bajen appear to be firing on all cylinders again, but Henrik Rydström may decide to rest a couple of his stars ahead of the first leg of their Europa League qualifying tie against Anderlecht next Thursday.

If that is the case, there is a good chance this will be another ‘job-done’ scoreline for the hosts, akin to the 2-1 and 2-0 victories that preceded it.

Back Hammarby to win with fewer than four goals in the game because only two of Degerfors’ 12 league games this term have seen more than three goals scored. A 2-0 defeat looks most likely for a side that have failed to score in their last two matches.
