Out-of-shape Viola need a win

Vincenzo Italiano’s men have only posted one victory in their last 10 games in all competitions, and need a victory in Scotland to boost their knockout hopes, but they have found goals hard to come by of late.

Indeed, Fiorentina have seen under 2.5 goals scored in eight of their last 10 matches, only scoring multiple goals once in that spell – in a 2-0 win over Verona. Only Sampdoria and Cremonese – Serie A’s bottom two – have scored fewer goals than Fiorentina’s seven in the Italian top flight this season, and they have been shut out on five of their six road trips in all competitions.

Hearts have also failed to trouble opposing defences in their last couple of home matches, being thrashed 4-0 by both Basaksehir and Rangers. While Fiorentina do not carry the firepower of those sides at present, a run of six defeats in nine games makes Hearts outsiders at Tynecastle, where they have scored just three times in their last four matches.
