Hearts to Win and Under 3.5 Match Goals

Reason for tip

11 of Hearts’ last 12 games have gone under 3.5 goals and a repeat of that looks likely, although they should be able to edge a low-scoring win against a Petrocub side that have lost six of their last seven in Europe.

Hearts 2-0

Reason for tip

Hearts’ last four European games have all ended 2-0 and they could run out winners by the same scoreline here.

Hearts vs Petrocub Predictions

  • Petrocub have lost six of their last seven European games
  • 11 of Hearts’ last 12 games have gone under 3.5 goals
  • Hearts last four Conference League games have all ended 2-0

Jam Tarts to edge victory

Hearts have endured a nightmare campaign and Sunday’s 1-0 loss to the ten men of Kilmarnock saw them remain bottom of the Scottish Premiership table on just 13 points after 17 games.

The Conference League was providing them with welcome respite but three 2-0 defeats on the spin has seen their chances of progressing take a big hit.

They should be able to get back to winning ways as they host Moldovan side Petrocub on Thursday.

The visitors have taken just one point from five group stage games and have scored just twice in that run.

In fact they have now lost seven of their last eight European games and Hearts could not have asked for a better opponent to turn their fortunes around against.

However the away side have managed to keep their games close recently, losing just 1-0 to Real Betis and picking up a 1-1 draw with Istanbul Basaksehir.

Against a Hearts team that are low on confidence, struggling with injuries and finding scoring goals difficult, this could be another low-scoring affair.

The Jam Tarts have seen all of their European games go under 3.5 goals and this looks likely to follow suit, take Neil Critchley’s side to edge a low-scoring win.

Their last four have all finished 2-0 and they could run out winners by the same scoreline here.
