Dortmund have the winning feeling

With Bayer Leverkusen and Bayern Munich showing no signs of slowing down, third place may be the best that Dortmund can hope for in the Bundesliga this season.

Having triumphed 3-0 at Darmstadt and 4-0 at Cologne in their last two away league games, where six different players got on the scoresheet, it would be difficult to oppose a destructive Dortmund in their current mood.

Heidenheim tough to budge on home soil

But a clean sheet may be beyond them given Heidenheim’s strong form at home, where they have lost only twice in nine outings since last season’s promotion.

In fact, Heidenheim have failed to score in just two of their 18 league games since suffering a 2-0 loss at Wolfsburg on the opening weekend of the season.

That includes on trips to Bayer Leverkusen, Bayern Munich and Leipzig while they also shared the spoils in a four-goal thriller at Dortmund in September.
