Inverness CT vs Hamilton Predictions

Inverness CT’s miserable campaign continued on Saturday as they lost 3-0 away to St Johnstone to make it four defeats on the bounce for them and to cement them to the bottom of the Scottish Premiership. A win on Saturday could take them as high as 6th to be fair, but it’s still not the best position to be in.

This 3-0 defeat makes them the worst defensive side in the league, having conceded an average of two goals per game throughout the season. They have scored the joint 5th most goals though, so it’s not all bad for them.

Five of their 21 goals have come courtesy of 26 year old striker Losana Doumbouya, with four of those five coming on home soil. He has scored in each of his last three games at home and looks the best choice for our anytime goalscorer predictions for this clash.

Hamilton Academical aren’t in the best shape themselves. They proved difficult to beat yet again on Saturday when they drew 1-1 with Partick Thistle, but their lack of winning mentality is resulting in a lot of dropped points.

They have won just one of their last 11 matches in the Premiership, drawing seven of them and losing three times. Four of these draws have come in their last four matches, and away from home they have drawn five and lost two of their seven games this season.

Hamilton’s strikers aren’t really firing at the moment, but one player is. Defender Alistair Crawford has scored six goals this season and has netted five of them away from home. Four of these have come in his last four trips away, so he’s a very good value anytime goalscorer to back.

Neither of these sides are in good form at the moment, and considering Hamilton’s status as draw specialists of the Premiership I’m expecting this one to also end all square. Backing a Draw at 14/5 looks a good choice to me, and I’m going for a 1-1 correct score predictions at 6/1 as well.
