KuPS vs Inter Turku Betting Tips & Predictions

KuPS enjoyed a very good start to the season after they got over their initial three match losing streak. They went on to win five of their next six matches in all competitions and only lost one of nine, but they have recently slipped back towards the form that saw them narrowly avoid relegation from the Veikkausliiga last season.

They are winless in four matches and lost 4-1 at home to HJK in the Suomen Cup in midweek. However, they are still in a promising 5th position in the Veikkausliga, just three points adrift of moving into the top three which would see them in with a chance of European football next season. A defeat on Sunday could send them as low as 7th though.

Inter Turku just missed out on the top three last season, but this season they have really struggled to pick up points. They began the campaign in high spirits with two wins and a draw, but since then they have only won another two matches and have lost eight of their 11 games in all competitions.

This has left them down near the bottom of the table, with just one point separating them in 10th position with the relegation playoff position below and just four points between them and bottom of the table HIFK.

Inter Turku have lost their last four away games on the bounce as well and have only won once on the road all season, whilst KuPS are unbeaten in five Veikkausliiga home matches and have won three of them.

This makes odds of 21/20 for a KuPS win look valuable, and that’s what I’m backing alongside a 1-0 correct score prediction due to the fact that the hosts have kept five clean sheets on the bounce at home and Inter Turku have scored just two goals in their last five away days.
