Can Las Palmas stop the rot?

It’s a good job Las Palmas had such a strong autumn, otherwise they would be teetering on the brink of the relegation zone after a run of eight successive defeats.

Manuel Pellegrini’s side head into this round in sixth place, one point clear of nearest challengers Real Sociedad, as they try and secure a Europa Conference League place.

They have enjoyed some good results on the road lately, winning four of the last seven, while of their eight La Liga defeats this season, only two have come to sides currently in the bottom half of the table.
