Hosts hard to beat

The January arrival of Bruno Fernandes has given the Red Devils and rather sizeable injection of creativity and just overall quality in midfield, so much so that United now look confident of hurting teams. That said, their rather poor scoring record on the road in this competition cannot be ignored. United have scored in three out of four away UEL matches this season, but they’ve scored more than once in none of those three. What’s more, they’ve only won one out of four away from home on the continent.

Hosts overlooked

The visitors have improved of late, but their exploits away from home in this competition leave something of a bad taste in the mouth. In contrast, LASK have been excellent at home.
