      Leicester vs Aston Villa Predictions

Leicester’s excellent start to the season was somewhat halted last time round when they could only manage a draw against the newly promoted Bournemouth.

However, two wins and two draws from their opening four fixtures isn’t anything to be upset about, and it’s the sort of start that they would have dreamed of last season.

Riyad Mahrez and Marc Albrighton have had tremendous starts to the league campaign, and the former is expected to recover from a slight back injury in time to face Aston Villa on Sunday.

But their performance against Bournemouth before the international break will have raised a few concerns about them slipping back into their old ways. They trailed for the majority of the match, and it was only thanks to a late Jamie Vardy penalty that they came away with anything.

Aston Villa, on the other hand, were somewhat unfortunate to come away with just a point when they played Sunderland in their last game.

An early free kick from Yann M’Vila put Sunderland ahead, but a quick equaliser and another goal just before half time from Scott Sinclair put the hosts in front. Sunderland equalised shortly after the break, but Villa dominated the ball and had 15 shots on goal compared to Sunderland’s four attempts.

It seems only a matter of time before Villa bag a few goals in a game when they are creating that many chances, and should Adama Traore return from injury for this match they should create even more.

Aston Villa won their curtain raiser against Bournemouth, but lost the following weekend to Manchester United and then came up empty handed again at Crystal Palace before the draw against Sunderland.

Aston Villa have won four of their last six matches against Leicester, and I can see them getting something from this game. It might not be a win, but either way odds of 10/11 for an Aston Villa Win or Draw Double Chance look like great value for money.
