Leicester vs Liverpool Betting Tips

Leicester will be coming into this match well rested and ready for action. Their FA Cup 3^rd Round exit at the hands of Tottenham Hotspur may be a blessing in disguise. They can now dedicate all their attention towards maintaining their surprisingly sturdy Premier League title challenge.

Their 3-0 win over Stoke last weekend saw them move three points clear at the top of the Premier League, with Manchester City and Arsenal sitting below them in 2^nd and 3^rd respectively.

Even if they do lose their lead in the Premier League, they are already ten points inside the top four. A Champions League finish would be an incredible result for a team who were destined for relegation 12 months ago.

Leicester’s comprehensive win over Stoke will have been very welcome as well. They have been struggling for victories recently, having only won two of their last eight matches in all competitions.

Liverpool played out a goalless draw with West Ham in their FA Cup 4^th Round match against West Ham, following on from a gruelling penalty shootout win over Stoke in midweek to send them to the League Cup Final.

The congested fixture list that comes from cup success will be resulting in some very tired legs at the moment, and they now have another FA Cup Replay to look forward to.

Liverpool will also be looking at making a push for the upper echelons of the Premier League table. They come into this game in 7^th position with just three points between them and 5^th placed Manchester United.

They have struggled to win recently though. They have only managed two wins from their last five Premier League games, although during that time they have scored a fairly impressive nine goals.

Both of these sides have had a penchant for some shoddy defending this season, so I’m looking towards a bet of Both Teams to Score, which comes in at a nicely priced 4/5. I’m going for a Leicester win as well, backing a correct score prediction of 2-1 at 10/1.
