Levante vs Elche Predictions

Elche have scored in nine of their last ten Primera Liga games and the best bet is both teams to score when they visit Levante on Friday.

Elche are eighth in the league table, 11 places and ten points above Levante, but both teams have lost more games than they’ve won this season. Elche have five wins and six losses, while Levante have won three and lost 11.

Levante have won just one of their last ten Primera Liga matches and it is eight games since they last won at home in the competition. For their part, Elche have lost five of their last six away games in the league.

Elche threw away a late lead to draw 2-2 with Sevilla in their last Primera Liga game, and have now avoided defeat in six of the ten games this season in which they have conceded first (60%). Elche were priced as 5/4 favourites to win but were unable to reward their backers.

Both teams have scored in Elche’s last three Primera Liga games, and this has been a winning bet in seven of their nine league away matches this term.

Both sides have been struggling defensively. Levante have failed to keep a clean sheet in 17 of their last 20 games, while Elche have conceded on all nine of their away days this season.

It could be hard to separate these two sides, with the 1-1 draw looking a decent correct-score bet. Seven of the last eight Primera Liga games between Elche and Levante have produced under 2.5 goals, but both teams have scored in four of Elche’s last five games.
