Both Teams To Score

Reason for tip

Both Levante and Espanyol have scored in all four Segunda Division games so far and both teams have scored in three of Levante’s outings. Espanyol conceded twice last time out and each of the last three meetings between these sides have seen goals at both ends.

Draw 1-1

Reason for tip

Levante have played out two 1-1 draws in four league games this season and Espanyol’s first away game also ended 1-1, while the last meeting between these sides was a 1-1 draw in Levante in March 2022.

Mohammed Bouldini To Score Anytime

Reason for tip

Mohamed Bouldini has scored in three of Levante’s four games this season and is just one away from matching last season’s tally. He has scored in both home appearances so far and can strike against an Espanyol outfit that conceded twice to Amorobieta last time out.

Levante vs Espanyol Predictions

  • Both teams have scored in three of Levante’s four games so far.
  • Two of Levante’s four games have ended 1-1.
  • Mohamed Bouldini has scored in three of Levante’s four games this season.

Title favourites go head-to-head

Levante lost last season’s promotion play-off to a 120th-minute penalty in the second leg against Alaves but the hosts, who are second-favourites for the Segunda Division title, haven’t allowed that to impact the new campaign and can extend their unbeaten start to the season against Espanyol.

Espanyol have been installed as heavy favourites for the top spot after an almost-perfect start following their relegation last term, with a draw in gameweek one being followed by three successive victories, although this trip to Estadio Ciudad de Valencia represents a tougher challenge than they have faced so far.

Bouldini can strike again

The visitors came from two behind to beat Amorobieta 3-2 last weekend and conceded at Albacete in their opener, so a Levante side that have scored six goals in their four league assignments will definitely be a threat to their back line.

Foremost of those threats is Mohamed Bouldini, who has scored in three of Levante’s four outings and can match last term’s goalscoring tally with a strike on Friday.

The Granota have conceded in three of their four games, though, and are unlikely to keep the in-form Espanyol attackers at bay. Two of these four fixtures have ended 1-1 and the Periquitos played out a 1-1 stalemate in their first away game of the season, so both teams to score and a 1-1 correct score prediction appeal.
