Lille vs Lorient Betting Tips

Lille managed just two wins through their 15 games and were languishing near the bottom of the table. They’ve now their last two games, holding serve with a 1-0 win at home against St Etienne and then picking up a hugely important 2-1 away victory over Caen.

Scoring two goals in one game was especially impressive. Lille still only have 11 goals in 17 games, so three goals in two matches represents a significant outburst. It certainly looks a lot better in the standings.

Lorient have performed pretty well all season long after barely escaping relegation last season. They’re currently placed eighth after picking up six wins and seven draws from 17 games. Last weekend, they displayed that new found ability to get results securing a 3-2 away win over Toulouse.

Neither of these sides are going to go all out and open up, but it’ll be interesting to see whether Lorient can bother Lille’s defence with their side and play off set pieces.
