Both sides struggling for goals

Newly promoted Lillestrom will be hoping to scrap out their second win of the campaign this Sunday and we could be set for a dull encounter at Arasen Stadion, with visitors Haugesund also struggling for goals.

Five time Eliteserien champions Lillestrom managed to dig themselves out of the second tier at the first time of asking in 2020, but their return to the top flight hasn’t been smooth thus far with three defeats suffered in four.

Geir Bakke’s men have been toiling up front with just three goals bagged in total, though they’ve kept things pretty tight in their last two starts which have resulted in a 1-0 victory here over Odd BK and a 1-0 loss at Kristiansund last time out.

This Sunday’s game against Haugesund should also be a battle. The visitors smashed four past Viking last time out, but failed to score in their first three fixtures this season.
