JK Nomme Kalju Double Chance (Win or Draw)

Linfield need a win to overturn their one-goal deficit from the first leg against Nomme Kalju but they have now lost four of their last five games and could be frustrated once more by a stubborn away side who are taken to at least avoid defeat.

Linfield vs JK Nomme Kalju Predictions

      • Linfield have lost four of their last five games
      • Three of Nomme Kalju’s last six matches have finished 1-1
      • Both teams have scored in six of Nomme Kalju’s last seven games

Linfield could be set for more frustration

Linfield are heavy favourites to avenge their 1-0 defeat to Nomme Kalju in the second leg of their Conference League qualifier but it may be worth taking on the Northern Irish outfit.

Their 1-0 defeat in the first leg made it four defeats from their last five games in all competitions and they have also suffered pre-season friendly losses to Kilmarnock and Aberdeen.

Kalju beat Partizani in the first round of Conference League qualifying last season before falling just short after extra-time against St Patrick’s Athletic in the second round.

They did a good job of frustrating Linfield in the first leg and with a draw being enough to see them through, that will be the aim once again.

Linfield have now lost four of their last five European games and all the pressure will be on them to overturn the deficit in front of their home support.

Expect the Estonian side to sit deep and try to frustrate their hosts, something which they may be successful in considering Linfield’s struggles in front of goal as of late.

Side with the away team to produce a big result and at least avoid defeat at Windsor Park.

Three of Kalju’s last six games have finished 1-1 and a repeat of that could be on the cards here.
