Lorient earning the plaudits

There always seems to be a surprise package in Ligue 1 each season and this term that package appears to be this Lorient side. The hosts have put together an impressive undefeated streak of eight matches and that includes six victories. Five of those wins have seen Lorient concede and they won’t be concerned if they go behind here considering they’re averaging a league-high1.75 points per game when conceding the opening goal.

Nice will probably prefer being on the road right now as eight of their 13 points have come on their travels.
