NFL MNF Double Tip
It’s been a surprisingly good start to the season for the Buccaneers, but this will be by far their toughest test so far. The Under is 4-1 in the Eagles’ last five games against NFC teams, and they don’t match up particularly well against this Bucs defense, so this can stay Under the Total.
Eight of the Rams’ last ten road games stayed under the Total and this one can follow suit. There’s been a youth movement in LA and Sean McVay’s squad has acquitted itself well in starting 1-1. With Joe Burrow nursing a calf injury and the Bengals starting 0-2, this could be low scoring.

Super Bowl LVIII Winner Tip
Returning to the Super Bowl after losing the previous year is a huge ask – but Philadelphia Eagles are perhaps a team who have the resolve to get back to the showpiece and go one better. The Eagles went 14-3 in the regular season last year and are projected to have in the region of 13 wins in 2023, despite facing a tougher schedule. If they are able to match those expectations, they could well end up being the number-one seed in the NFC once again – putting them in a strong position for Super Bowl redemption.
NFL Division Winners Mega Accumulator Tip
Philadelphia Eagles blew up in the Super Bowl but have improved what was already one of the best squads in the league during the off-season. They have star quality in quarterback Jalen Hurts and will be eager to avenge their Super Bowl loss.
Atlanta Falcons managed respectable 7-10 records in Arthur Smith’s first two seasons in charge and have built a well-rounded squad, spending big to address their defence in the offseason. The Falcons have drafted a host of offensive talent over the last three seasons, including potentially a generational talent in running-back Bijan Robinson and can dominante a wide-open division.
San Francisco 49ers finished four games better off than the Seattle Seahawks in last year’s NFC West standings and can maintain that gap. If they can keep the likes of Deebo Samuel, George Kittle and quarterback Brock Purdy fit they have a solid offence and their defensive unit is one of the best in the league.
The Detroit Lions recovered from a dreadful to go 8-2 in their final ten games of last season and they are justified favourites ahead of a Vikings side that rode their luck last season and a Green Bay Packers outfit in transition after Aaron Rodgers left.
Buffalo Bills underwhelmed in the play-offs last season but have retained the core of their impressive offence and have a favourable schedule compared to the New England Jets, who may need time to adapt after the arrival of Aaron Rodgers.
The Cincinnati Bengals have topped their division for the last two seasons and, while they may have a tougher time besting the improving Baltimore Ravens, Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Browns, they can call upon the best quarterback in the division in Joe Burrow, who can make all the difference.
The AFC South is one of the worst divisions in the NFL and Jacksonville Jaguars can take the crown for a second straight year. Trevor Lawrence has another full season under his belt at quarterback and the Jaguars have made some solid additions in the draft.
It’s hard to back against a side that have won seven consecutive AFC West titles and are the reigning Super Bowl champions. Once again, Patrick Mahomes will take charge of an exciting offence and Andy Reid remains head coach. This should be business as usual for the Chiefs.
NFL Super Mega Accumulator Tip
The Falcons may be 2-0, but they will be put through their paces against a resolute Detroit Lions side. Atlanta’s Bijan Robinson may struggle to overcome Detroit’s relentless run defence, and the Lions should be able to get the job done as a result.
Washington have started the season 2-0 but a visit from the Bills is their toughest test so far and they may be found wanting. Buffalo just squashed the Raiders at home and have convincingly beaten the Commanders the last two times the sides have met.
The Dolphins have burst out of the blocks, with quarterback Tua Tagovailoa throwing for over 700 yards already. Denver have struggled so far, and they have yet to face a team of Miami’s quality. Miami have shown promise on the ground, too, so we suspect Denver will struggle to contain them.
Houston’s offence are still finding their feet, and with injuries troubling their offensive line, they should struggle to assert themselves on the road. Jacksonville should have done better last time out, but at home, they should hit their stride early and secure a comfortable win.
With injuries affecting both teams, most notably the Colts who could be without quarterback Anthony Richardson, and two good defensive lines on show, the under is fancied to land for the 12th time in Baltimore’s last 14 games at home.
Both teams have been involved in some high-scoring games already, and the trend looks like continuing. The Chargers secondary has struggled, which is not ideal when they are about to face Justin Jefferson. Both offences have huge potential; expect fireworks in this one.
After starting the season 0-2, the Patriots can ill afford another defeat and are likely to get off the mark in New York against the Jets. New England are slightly unlucky to be winless but can make it 15 straight wins over the Jets, who look a far poorer side with Zach Wilson at quarterback.
The Saints may have won two games already, but they have yet to score more than 20 points in one game. Green Bay are unlucky not to be 2-0 themselves, and their secondary should be able to give Saints quarterback Derek Carr some problems.
The Browns are reeling from losing running-back Nick Chubb to a season-ending injury but have a great chance to show they can win without him against the Titans. Tennessee’s offensive line may be manhandled by the Browns and Cleveland can win and cover for a fifth time in the last six at home.
The Seahawks produced a strong offensive showing to beat the Detroit Lions in overtime last week and have the weapons to pull away from Carolina’s struggling attack, which will be missing starting quarterback Bryce Young. The Panthers rank dead last in passing yards and may not be able to keep up if Seattle gets into their stride.
A visit from the Bears, who have failed to cover in 10 of their last 12 games, is just what the doctor ordered for the Chiefs, who have got off to a slow start offensively this season. Patrick Mahomes and co are expected to have a breakout performance.
The Cowboys have covered the Spread in their last 3 games as a favourite and are expected to do so once again, despite the big number. Led by their elite defense, they face a Cardinals team coming off a crushing home loss to the Giants when blowing a 21-point lead.
This doesn’t set up well for the Steelers, who are banged up and travelling across the country on a short week. The Raiders are hardly a convincing favourite but they are on a 3-game win streak at home to the Steelers and can extend that run if they finally get Josh Jacobs rolling
