Mallorca Tough To Beat

Mallorca have made a decent fist of things since returning to La Liga in the summer, including a shock 2-1 win away to Atletico Madrid at the weekend.

They have only been beaten once at the Iberostar Stadium, with six of their eight matches containing fewer than three goals.

Luis García’s side have only failed to score in two matches on home, where they have already kept four clean sheets, but another shut-out will be a tough task against a visiting side who are so strong in front of goal.

Vigo Unbeaten In Four On The Road

Celta Vigo’s away form is actually better than what they have achieved at home, winning three of their last four matches on the road, including La Liga victories at Getafe and Alaves.

Four of their seven away games have contained fewer than three goals, and they have kept a hugely impressive four clean sheets.

Eduardo Coudet’s side are regular scorers though, averaging just over a goal a game on the road, while five of the seven they have conceded came in one game, at the Bernabeu against Real Madrid.

I do not expect there to be too many goals in this one. Both teams are strong defensively, but both should have enough to grab a goal each. So I am predicting fewer than three goals in the game, with a 1-1 correct score prediction.
