Mid-table Mallorca looking for back-to-back wins

A surprise 1-0 victory at Celta Vigo last week means Mallorca have the chance to pick up successive league victories for the first time since November.

The issue for Javier Aguirre’s side is they have simply been drawing too much, with three of their last five outings ending all square, including two in a row at home.

They also have patchy record at Son Moix over the course of the campaign, winning just six times in 14 attempts, a run that includes four draws and four defeats apiece.

Getafe desperate for points

With talismanic midfielder Mauro Arambarri still out injured, Getafe have struggled to get games over the line of late, drawing five of their last ten matches.

Only two of those games have ended in defeat, but as such they have failed to pull properly clear of the relegation zone.

Despite being so tough to beat though, Quique Sánchez Flores’ side have now gone eight away fixtures without success, with three of the last five ending all square.

I predict that this game will end in a draw, with 1-1 my correct score prediction.
