      Manchester City vs Swansea Predictions

Manchester City managed to end their Champions League group stage in style in midweek when they beat Borussia Monchengladbach 4-2 to take the top spot in their group.

This came from three goals in the final 11 minutes to come back from 2-1 down, with Raheem Sterling netting a two minute brace and Wilfried Bony rounding off the victory.

This will have gone a long way to banishing memories of their awful 2-0 at Stoke last weekend, and their recent record now stands at three wins and two losses in their last five matches in all competitions.

This leaves them in 3rd position in the Premier League, three points adrift of leaders Leicester and level on points with 4th place Manchester United.

Swansea have finally lost patience with Garry Monk. The young manager has had to endure a terrible spell recently, winning just one of their last 12 games and losing eight of them.

This has seen their early season good work go to waste, leaving them down in 15th position and just one point clear of the Premier League drop zone.

Manchester City have won five of their last six meetings with Swansea, drawing the other game and not losing to them since 2012.

I’m expecting Man City to win on Saturday, and the fact that each of their last four wins have seen them win by two or more goals means that it could be a landslide.

Swansea have played some good sides in recent weeks, and they have failed to contain them on both occasions. Both Arsenal and Leicester beat them 3-0 and they have also lost 3-1 to Southampton during their poor spell.

This makes odds of 1.875 for a Manchester City -1.5 Asian Handicap Win look very good value, and odds of 16/1 for a 3-0 Man City win are attractive as well.
