Manchester United vs Swansea Betting Tips

Louis Van Gaal celebrated Manchester United’s goalless draw with an out of form Chelsea like they had won the league, stating that the fans were on his side and he had no reason to leave.

Despite their vastly improved performance on Monday, it was still a draw at home against an out of form side, and they are still desperately struggling to find the back of the net.

This made it eight games without a win for Manchester United in all competitions, and they have only managed to score five goals in total during this period.

This poor form has seen them slip out of the much needed top four position in the Premier League and they are now in 6^th position, five points adrift of 4^th placed Tottenham Hotspur. If I was Louis Van Gaal I wouldn’t be too confident about keeping my job just yet.

Swansea will be looking to take advantage of this poor form to continue their own resurgence under Alan Curtis.

They managed to break out of their spell of five defeats in six matches when they picked up a draw at home to West Ham, and they have followed this up with a win against West Brom and a draw at Crystal Palace to make it three games without defeat for the struggling Welsh side.

This has lifted them out of the Premier League relegation zone and into a precarious 17^th position, but they are still only two points outside the drop zone.

Swansea have more good news ahead of this meeting as well. They have an excellent record against Manchester United in recent years with four wins in their last five matches against Man United.

This all combines to give Swansea an excellent chance of coming away from Old Trafford with a good result, and odds of 13/8 for a Swansea Win or Draw Double Chance look excellent value. I’m also backing a 1-1 draw at 15/2.
