Metz vs Nice Predictions
- Nice unbeaten in their last six away games
- Metz have won just two of their last 12 at home
- Nice have won their last five matches
No reason to desert Nice
Nice have been in fine fettle of late and after being put up on the site last weekend, there is absolutely no reason to desert them here. Nice have won their last five consecutive matches and are unbeaten in their last six on the road.
Christophe Galtier’s men currently occupying second spot in the Ligue 1 table and are 4 points clear of Strasbourg who sit just outside the Champions League places. After a four-year absence they look nailed on for a return to European club football’s biggest stage.
Injuries and national team call-ups hindering Metz
Metz have a whole host of players missing this one, through either injury or international call-ups and are expected to struggle on Sunday. They are on a poor run of form; Metz have won just two of their last 12 home matches and precariously perched just above the drop-zone.
Metz have taken just seven points from their 10 home league games this season, whilst no team has won more points on the road this campaign than Nice. Nice have taken 22 from a possible 30 points on their travels this season and are expected to win once again. Nice don’t often blow teams away, so it is hard to be confident in the handicap market. I will take Nice in the outright market as my main selection, with 2-0 Nice being the correct score pick.
