      AC Milan vs Genoa Predictions

A draw with Udinese somewhat halted AC Milan’s positive run, which included a huge 3-0 win over bitter rivals Inter at the San Siro. AC Milan are six points behind third place Fiorentina and they’ll have their eyes fully set on the cluster that also includes Inter Milan and Roma. The Serie A should see a very interesting home stretch set of games and there’s a definite recovery and renaissance for one of the country’s elite clubs.

Quietly, Genoa have been enjoying a good run despite their proximity to the relegation zone. They’ve won two and drawn three of their last six games. They have a six point advantage over Carpi and they’ll want to continue to put distance between themselves and the relegation zone.

Genoa have enjoyed plenty of success against AC Milan of late winning three straight games against the Serie A giants, including a 1-0 victory earlier this season. Prior to that run, they had gone six games without being AC Milan, including five losses.

      Team News

Milan continue to deal with a few nagging injury concerns including strikers M’baye Niang and Luiz Adriano, and midfielders Juraj Kucka and Giacomo Bonaventura. Kucka should be in the line-up against Genoa, while Bonaventura is getting closer to a return.

For Genoa, Leonardo Pavoletti, Tomas Rincon and Cristian Ansaldi will be absent on Sunday.

      Reason for Betting Tips

Genoa have a great run going against AC Milan, but these two clubs were very different teams one year ago, even earlier this season. The San Siro has become a fortress for Milan again and they’ve re-discovered their attacking touch, which makes them an extremely dangerous team. They’ll be allowed to control the ball in this match-up and should profit from that. The odds are not great, at just 8/13, but we like the prospect of playing with a big stake on this match-up. Genoa’s non-losing is due to come to an end.
