The Baggies are eight places and three points above Millwall, with the hosts sitting 12th with three wins, two draws and three defeats from their eight games, while West Brom have won four, drawn two and lost two.

Beyond the results, the underlying numbers are a concern for the hosts. The Lions’ struggles in front of goal are a worry, with the team managing just one goal in four home games in the Championship – an average of 0.25 goals per game. At the back, the story is no better, with Millwall conceding nine goals in four home matches – an average of 2.25 per game. The hosts have also failed to keep a clean sheet in seven of their last nine league games.

West Brom’s recent matches have also trended towards low scores, with six of their last eight Championship games producing under 2.5 goals. A 2-0 away win looks a decent option for correct-score bettors.
