      Under 2.5 Match Goals

      Reason for tip

Under 2.5 goals looks the strongest play when MK Dons host Gillingham. Four of Gillingham’s last six league games have produced fewer than three goals, and they’ve conceded only seven times in ten matches. MK Dons have also struggled for home wins, so a cagey, low-scoring contest is expected between two sides who often keep things tight.

      Draw 1-1

      Reason for tip

A 1-1 draw makes plenty of appeal in the correct-score market. Both teams have scored in six of MK Dons’ last seven games, and with Gillingham strong defensively but not prolific, this looks set to be a closely contested encounter. One goal apiece could be the outcome at Stadium MK.

      MK Dons vs Gillingham Predictions

Defences to Dominate in MK Dons v Gillingham

Take under 2.5 goals in Saturday’s League Two clash between MK Dons and Gillingham. Four of Gillingham’s last six league games have had fewer than three goals.

Gillingham are third in League Two, six places and six points above MK Dons, having won six and lost one of their ten games this season. The hosts are ninth with four wins and three defeats.

MK Dons have managed just one victory in their last nine League Two home games, while Gillingham beat Newport 3-1 two weeks ago and have beaten MK Dons in three of the last four League Two meetings.

Gillingham lost 1-0 to Harrogate Town last weekend in their last League Two outing and the game kept up their recent trend for matches with under 2.5 goals. It was a surprise defeat for Gillingham, who were priced at 4/5 to win.

Gillingham have been impressive defensively this season, conceding just seven goals in League Two – an average of 0.70 goals per game from ten games. They have kept things tight at the back, and this could be a low-scoring game.

It could be hard to separate these two sides, with the 1-1 draw looking like a decent correct-score bet. Both teams have scored in six of MK Dons’ last seven League Two games.
