MK Dons are enjoying an impressive season to date, there were fears that Russell Martin’s departure would impact their chances this season – Liam Manning has seamlessly slipped into the role as Dons’ boss. MK Dons are unbeaten in their last seven matches, recording five wins in this period and can expect a tough test on Saturday against a Bolton team who could hardly be in better form. 

Bolton’s toughest test

Bolton have been very impressive since the middle of January. The Trotters made good use of the January window and have lost just one of their last ten matches. Bolton have taken 25 points from their last ten League One matches – no team in the league can better this return. This is comfortably their toughest test in recent times, but Ian Evatt’s side travel to Stadium MK full of confidence.

It’s tricky to split these two sides, both of whom are bang in form. The reverse fixture finished 3-3 at the University of Bolton Stadium in August – the points being shared once again seems entirely feasible.
