SK Brann Double Chance (Win or Draw)

Reason for tip

Brann have lost just one of their last 11 matches and they will be confident of extending that impressive run when they visit defending champions Molde, who have lost five times already this season and are languishing in midtable.

Draw 1-1

Reason for tip

Brann are a team in form, but Molde is never an easy place to go for visiting teams, so they may have to settle for a draw given the hosts have taken 13 points from a possible 18 on their own patch to date this term.

Molde vs SK Brann Predictions

  • Brann have lost just one of their last 11 matches
  • Molde have kept just one clean sheet in their last four league fixtures
  • Both teams have scored in all of Brann’s last eight matches

Brann can stay on track for a lofty finish

Newly-promoted Brann are having a very strong season and can add at least another point to their total by avoiding defeat against Molde at Aker Stadion.

Brann romped to the second tier title last season, finishing 23 points above second-placed Stabaek, and they have maintained a winning habit in the Eliteserien.

Eirik Horneland’s side have gathered 24 points from 13 league fixtures and they will be eyeing up a top three finish which would be enough to ensure a place in European competition for the 2024-25 campaign.

Brann are averaging two goals per game and they should find the net against Molde, who have achieved just four clean sheets in 13 league fixtures.

Inconsistent Molde are tough to trust

Champions Molde would have hoped to stage a meaningful title defence but they are languishing in mid-table after losing five games.

Molde have been more reliable on home soil, taking 13 points from a possible 18, and they were pleased to secure a 2-2 draw away to leaders Bodo/Glimt last Sunday.

However, Erling Moe’s side have shipped 18 league goals (the second highest among top half teams) and their shaky defence could deny them a victory this weekend.
