Both Teams To Score

Reason for tip

Both teams have found the net in four of the last six meetings between these sides and that trend looks sure to continue. Napoli are coming off the back of a six-goal haul in midweek and seem to have rediscovered their shooting boots under Francesco Calzona while both teams have scored in five of Juventus’ last seven away games.

Napoli vs Juventus Predictions

  • Both teams have scored in Napoli’s last four games including all three since Francesco Calzona was appointed as head coach
  • Juventus have kept just one clean sheet in their last seven away games
  • Both teams have found the net in four of the last six meetings between this pair

New boss getting a tune out of Napoli

Napoli have remained unbeaten since replacing Walter Mazzarri with Francesco Calzona, with their new boss managing two draws and a win in his three games in charge so far.

The reigning Serie A champions have endured a difficult campaign but there have been signs of improvement lately, especially in attack, with Gli Azzurri thrashing Sassuolo 6-1 on Wednesday in a match that saw star man Victor Osimhen bag a hat-trick.

Osimhen has now scored five goals in his three appearances under Calzona and the new boss certainly seems to be getting a tune out of the Napoli frontline, which should see them breach Juventus on Sunday.

The Old Lady have been uncharacteristically leaky at the back of late, managing just one clean sheet in their last seven away games and conceding twice to lowly Verona in their latest road outing.

Back both sides to find the net in Naples

However, Juve are still a very talented side and the form of Dusan Vlahovic can not be ignored. The Serbian forward has eight goals in his last six matches and he looks a prime candidate to net in Naples on Sunday.

Both teams have scored in Napoli’s last four matches, including all three since Calzona’s appointment, suggesting that another exciting encounter should be expected when the two Italian giants clash this weekend.

Both sides have found the net in four of the last six meetings between the pair and, with each team in brilliant scoring form – especially their respective forwards Osimhen and Vlahovic – but still vulnerably defensively, that trend looks set to continue in Naples.
