NEC vs Twente Betting Tips

NEC are having a good season. They are seventh in the Dutch Eredivisie table and they’ve got themselves onto a pretty good run over their last few games beating Feyenoord 3-1 and Willem II 1-0, before a solid 0-0 away draw against Groningen.

They’re relatively “unflashy” for a Dutch side, they’re one of the better defensive sides in the league with only 19 conceded, but they’ve tallied only 24 goals. Still, their organisation and willingness to absorb pressure is clearly a positive.

Twente have been erratic all season long picking up just four wins from their first 19 games. They find themselves third from bottom and while they should be too good to get relegated, they need to start picking up results.

They started the year with a hugely positive 4-0 thrashing of Heracles, and can even take some solace from the fight that they managed in the weekend’s action losing 4-2 to PSV.
