      Newcastle vs Leicester Predictions

Newcastle finally seem to be improving. They failed to win any of their opening eight Premier League games, but ended this streak in emphatic style with a 6-2 thrashing of Norwich.

They followed this up with a disappointing and undeserved 3-0 defeat to Sunderland, but then picked up a point against Stoke before beating Bournemouth before the international break.

This represents a big upturn in form for the struggling north easterners, and they have managed to escape the relegation zone. They sit two points ahead of 18th placed Bournemouth, but will want to put as much distance between them and the drop zone as possible.

But they might find it very difficult against the high flying Leicester, especially with their current injury list. They are missing Rob Elliot, Massadio Haidara, Rolando Aarons, Karl Darlow, Steven Taylor, Emmanuel Riviere, Gabriel Obertan, Jack Colback, and Tim Krul.

Leicester could be without Jamie Vardy though, although I am fully expecting him to make a recovery in order to try and equal Ruud van Nistelrooy’s record of scoring in ten Premier League games on the trot.

Leicester have only lost once in the Premier League this season, a 5-2 mauling by Arsenal. They have won seven of their other 11 matches, drawing the remaining four.

Ten of their points have come from losing positions, and it doesn’t look like any team is safe when they take the lead against Leicester.

This sees them in a very surprising position in the Premier League, considering they were bottom of the table at the beginning of 2015. They are in 3rd position, just a single point behind Manchester City and Arsenal above them.

The bookies don’t seem to realise that Leicester are actually a genuinely good team, which is very good for us. The odds on offer for a Leicester Draw No Bet are 8/11, which in my opinion are simply too good to turn down.
